This will be a regular event for handbuilding a particular project.

Each week we will post what the project will be for the next session.

Plan to be there 2 - 4 hours, depending on the complexity of the project. All supplies included, and we will prepare your clay, finish,fire and glaze for you.

If you prefer to do all that yourself, you can schedule time to come in throughout the week to finish your piece before firing, and again to glaze it before the final firing.

Our six week beginner wheel throwing class will meet weekly for 6 weeks, giving students the opportunity to learn the basics of wheel throwing. We will make mugs and other cylinder shapes, and learn to make and attach handles, trim and glaze. Kids are welcome, however we recommend this class for ages 8 and up. Call or message us if you have questions or special needs. All supplies included. Open studio time for practice will be available as well.

For our alumni who have completed the 6 week beginner class and want to continue to learn more.

Also for those who have some experience throwing previously and want to learn or relearn more.

In order to get the most from this class - students should be able to consistently center and throw a 4 inch cylinder.

Having mastered the cylinder, we will move on to make lidded pots, closed forms and double walled forms. We will also try plates and altered forms.

We will also learn new glazing and decorating techniques.

This class will meet every Monday from 5 pm to 7 pm beginning April 15th.

$145 per person - includes all supplies and anytime access to the studio for practice between classes

This class will be held for two hour once a week for 6 weeks. We will learn the basics of hand building with clay and create several finished pieces by the end of the class. We will learn pinch pots, coiling and slab building. Come with your own ideas for a project or we can help you come up with one!

Hand building is a lot of fun and no prior experience is needed! Just a little creativity.

All supplies included. Open studio time included as well. Open to kids as well as adults - recommend kids be 6 or so to get the most out of the class. Feel free to contact us with questions.

This class will be from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday afternoons, starting June 9th.

Get down and dirty with your date - in a different sort of way.

Two hour class where you get to try out the potter’s wheel and see what you can make out of a lump of clay.

Most people end up with a couple of pieces that we will finish for you with the glaze of your choice. Usually ready for pick up about 2 weeks after the class.

BYOB as long as you drink responsibly.

This is a two hour session to give you the opportunity to get your hands in the mud and try something that you’ve always wanted to try (you know it’s true!). All supplies included. Most students create two or three pieces which studio staff will finish with trimming, handles, glazing. Finished pieces will be ready to pick up in 2 - 3 weeks.

Optionally, you can sign up for this session, and then plan to come back to do your own trimming and glazing. Trimming and glazing sessions are 1 hour each and are an additional $10 each. Follow up classes will be scheduled separately as the timing depends on when we fire the kiln.

This is a two hour session to learn the basics of hand building with clay. All supplies included.
